Collective Arts Toronto Releases Cherry Pie Imperial Sour and Tweezer Altbier

TORONTO, ON – Collective Arts Brewing has announced the release of two new small-batch beers brewed at the Collective Arts Toronto brewpub.

Cherry Pie Imperial Sour (8.2% abv):

There’s nothing wrong with a little dessert! Our latest small-batch sour is called Cherry Pie – take one sip and you’ll see exactly why. We used a blend of sweet and sour cherries with a touch of almond and vanilla for a tart, refreshing sour that’s balanced by a hint of sweetness. It really is like biting into a slice of cherry pie with a graham cracker crust!

Tweezer Altbier (5.2% abv):

Our Toronto brewery is all about experimentation. So we handed the keys to the brew kit over to some of our Hamilton brewing team to bring recipes of their own to life! Tweezer is an Altbier from the mind of Zach Vernon, who’s been brewing with us for nearly 5 years. Altbier, which translates to “old beer,” is one of Germany’s oldest beer styles, endemic to the city of Dusseldorf. Crisp and clean with a strong malt aroma, Alts survived the Lager mania that swept Germany in the late 19th century. Tweezer puts a bit of spin on this classic style with a clean, malty body accented with Ariana hops, a new German variety with notes of berries and a hint of woodiness.

Both beers are available now at the Collective Arts online shop and brewery retail stores in Toronto and Hamilton.
