TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the latest in its quarterly rotation of fruit-flavoured versions of Jelly King Dry Hopped Sour to be carried at LCBO stores, where it is being joined by a fan-favourite double IPA.
Strawberry Rhubarb Jelly King (5.6% abv) replaces the previously available Pineapple Tangerine Grapefruit edition, and is described as follows:
Basically the embodiment of summer. Strawberry Rhubarb is inspired by a classic pie combo, but feels so much lighter and brighter in a sour/hoppy Jelly King foundation. It’s fruity, tart, and bordering on perfect for this time of year.
Also hitting the shelves at the government booze outlets for the summer is Double Jutsu DIPA (8% abv), which has the following notes:
Jutsu is our original hazy pale ale that has quickly risen to the ranks of favourite around here. It’s known for low bitterness, bold aromatics, bright fruity flavours, and of course, that characteristic haze. Somewhere along the way we had the idea to take our regular recipe and turn the volume up to eleven – we named it Double Jutsu. The hop aromatics and flavours in this beer are intensified, but the soft bitterness and smooth body remain.
Strawberry Rhubarb Jelly King and Double Jutsu are available now at select LCBO locations throughout Ontario, as well as at both Bellwoods retail stores and the brewery’s online shop.
