Cannery Brewing Releases HDHC Citra IPA

PENTICTON, BC – Cannery Brewing has announced the latest release in It’s Not Magic, It’s Science, a series of beers that “give our brewing team a chance to explore new techniques in brewing science.”

HDHC Citra IPA (7% abv) was developed in partnership with Hops Connect, and is described as follows:

An experimental IPA brewed with a single hop variety (Citra). The Citra hop brings notes of lime, grapefruit, and tropical fruit.

High Density Hop Charge (HDHC) signifies a beer brewed with a single hop variety used in 3 different formats.

– T-90 HOP PELLETS are the industry standard.
– INCOGNITO® is a CO2 extracted hop oil liquid.
– LUPOMAX™ is a highly concentrated lupulin pellet.

Combining all 3 formats produces the boldest expression of a single hopped IPA. It might seem like magic, but it’s science.

HDHC Citra IPA is available now at the brewery, and soon at select beer retailers in British Columbia and Alberta.
