Annex Ale Project Launches Conservation Brew Series for Calgary Zoological Foundation

CALGARY, AB – Annex Ale Project has announced the first in a series of four beers bring released in partnership with the Calgary Zoological Foundation.

Conservation Brew Edition 1: Whopping Crane Alberta Common (5% abv):

This is our local take on the warm-fermented Lagers you might find in California, made using hyper-local malts and Pacific Northwest hops. Light chocolate from Red Shed Malting, Munich from Origin Malting, and two-row from Rahr Malt. This lager is bready with notes of caramel and a clean, crisp finish.

Conservation Brew Edition 1 is available now at the Annex retail store and select beer retailers in Alberta. A portion of sales will help support the Calgary Zoological Foundation’s conservation programs.
