SALT SPRING ISLAND, BC – 23 years after its launch, one of British Columbia’s longest established craft breweries has announced a change to its name and branding as part of “an ongoing company commitment to produce quality ales and lagers on trend with current consumer tastes.”
Salt Spring Island Ales is now known as Salt Spring Brewing, a name that better reflects the increased breadth of beer styles now offered by the brewery.
In addition to the classic core brands Heather Pale Ale, Golden Ale, Earl Grey IPA, ESB, and Dry Porter, the Salt Spring line-up has grown in 2021 to include Windswept West Coast IPA, Raspberry Mango Sour, Ginger Session Saison, Paradise Passionfruit Sour, and Mount Maxwell Lager.
All of the brewery’s beers are available in 473 ml cans with newly designed labels, as well as on tap at select licensees.
