KELOWNA, BC – A new canine-friendly brewery that aims to “brew beers bold and strong like the big dogs, and light and crisp like the little dogs” is now open in Kelowna.
Unleashed Brewing has been founded by brewmaster Mike Prytula, his wife Shantel Hordos, and co-brewer Ashton Sykes, and is adjacent to The Office Brewery and The Welton Arms Craft Beer & Restaurant, all of which have opened this summer.
The Unleashed taproom and patio opened to the public last Friday, with an inaugural tap list that includes London Dog Special-tea Ale (4% abv), Jaker’s IPA (5.4% abv), Takaya Hibiscus Pale Ale (4.8% abv), Fuggley Dog Red Ale (5.6% abv), and Luna-Tic Blonde Ale (3.7% abv).
Unleashed Brewing is located at 890 Clement Avenue #207 in Kelowna, and is open daily with the exception of Mondays. Dogs are currently welcome to join their humans on the patio, and will be allowed inside once all approvals are in place.
