TORONTO, ON – Henderson Brewing has announced the latest release in its monthly Ides Series of limited edition beers, with this month’s also being a collaboration with Friends of Christie Pits Park.
Ides of August 2021: Pitstop Stonefruit Table Beer (4% abv):
This fruity Belgian ale is brewed with the juices of peaches and cherries – two stonefruits that grow from a ‘pit’. See what we did there? With notes of ripe peach, tart cherry pie and some earthy, peppery spice, this low alcohol and light bodied ale will keep you refreshed with its spritz like carbonation.
Pitstop is available now at the Henderson retail store and online shop, and for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, its release will be marked with an in-person event at the brewery. Taking place on Friday August 20th starting at 6:00 PM, the launch party will feature food from Slayer Burger and free samples of the new beer.
