TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the return of two old favourites that haven’t been around for a while.
Grandma (5% abv):
Grandma is a sour golden ale aged in foeders. But expanded upon to incorporate some context, Grandma is the base beer we use in our plum-centric Grandma’s Boy series, released for the second time ever in its unfruited state. The absence of fruit allows for more subtle flavours to shine through, showcasing the perfect intersection of acid, brett, oak, and a crisp, spritzy body.
Omertà (6% abv):
Omertà is a dry-but-juicy pale ale brewed with blood orange, tangerine, and hibiscus — making its first appearance on Bellwoods shelves in two years! So many of you requested this floral/fruity favourite from the early days, and we decided there was no better time to bring it back than during a summer heat wave.
Grandma and Omertà are available now at both Bellwoods retail stores and the brewery’s online shop.
