Granite Brewery Releases Three New Seasonal Ales

TORONTO, ON – Granite Brewery has announced the release of a trio of new beers.

Bine To Brew Fresh Hop Harvest Ale (6.5% abv):

Our harvest ale/fresh ale features Cascade wet hops from Hayhoe Farm and pelletized Chinook and Centennial hops from VQH Farm. Every year, our brewmaster Mare goes to the hop yard to collect hops that were just picked off the bine and brings them back to the Granite in time to add to the kettle. It pours a beautiful golden orange and has aromas of biscuit and lemon and flavours of apricot and marmalade. Not too bitter, but very fresh and hop forward.

September Session Ale (3.9% abv):

A fresh take on an English mild. This ale pours bright amber, and is lush with honey and toffee aromas. Flavours of light biscuit and caramel sweetness are complimented by subtle notes of dried fruit. Finishes dry and sessionable with a lower ABV of 3.9%.

Joan’s One Year Old Dark Secret (4.3% abv):

We have been cask-aging Joan’s Dark Secret for one year, resulting in an exceptionally smooth body and finish. This dark mild is very malt-forward, with notes of toffee and figs balanced by a tannic dryness courtesy of the addition of roasted malt. This cask ale is perfect on a crisp fall evening.

Bine To Brew and September Session are available now at tap at the Granite, and in cans at the brewery retail store and online shop. Joan’s One Year Old Dark Secret is available exclusively on cask at the Granite.
