TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the latest in its quarterly rotation of fruit-flavoured versions of Jelly King Dry Hopped Sour to be carried at LCBO stores, where it is being joined by a popular IPA.
Plum Cherry Jelly King (5.6% abv) replaces the previously available Strawberry Rhubarb edition, and is described as follows:
Plum Cherry Jelly King is perfectly timed to help us transition from summer into fall. Daylight may be waning earlier and earlier each day, but brightness is still to be uncovered in this tart and fruity zinger. Is that a little poetic? I try.
Cat Lady IPA (7.2% abv) is taking over an LCBO spot from Double Jutsu DIPA, and has the following notes:
For us, and many of you, Cat Lady IPA has been a longstanding favourite — and not just because of the stretching, languid cats on the label. It’s a big beer that centres around Columbus, which tends to mean dank, resinous notes that, in our case, we balance with a bit of tropical fruity ones as well. It’s also hazy (because the dry-hopping rate is so high) and hugely aromatic, which is a must in our books.
Both beers are available now at select LCBO locations throughout Ontario, as well as at both Bellwoods retail stores and the brewery’s online shop.
