OTTAWA, ON – Broadhead Brewery has announced the latest release in its 174 Taproom Series of limited edition beers.
Wet Hop Harvest Ale 2.0 (6.5% abv):
Wet Hop Harvest Ale 2.0 features almost double the amount of freshly harvested Cascade hops from our friends at Pleasant Valley Farms. Pouring a beautiful dark amber, with a full head of frothy tan foam, while offering pleasantly floral aromas with citrus, pine, grapefruit and a good dose of caramelly malts to round it out. On the palate you’ll find a healthy amount of citrusy fruit, grass and pine balanced by a solid hop presence that’s complimented nicely by rich caramel and bready malt notes. Medium bodied, matched by moderate carbonation, a lingering finish and slight warming alcohol heat, this is the quintessential fall sipper.
