OTTAWA, ON – Spark Beer has announced the release of its latest limited edition foeder-aged beer.
Lulu Foeder-Aged Porter (6.4% abv):
The second release from our oak foeder is Lulu, a porter-like beer that was fermented for six months with a blend of Belgian and Brettanomyces wild yeasts. It was then bottle conditioned all summer long. This black, rich beer has notes of oak, dark-roasted coffee, and English biscuits. A firm brett backbone and soft carbonation balance out the small amount of residual sugar. Perfect for sipping by the fire after a hard day of nothing much at all.
