Bellwoods Brewery Releases Crowbar IPA and Vines “Big Red” Wild Ale

TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the release of a remote collaboration with Halifax’s 2 Crows Brewing, and the latest in the Vines series of barrel aged wild ales.

Crowbar IPA (7% abv):

New Zealand was the loose theme, with them deciding to brew a Pilsner and us Bellwoods folk opting to make a “yummy tropical IPA” hopped with all NZ varieties (Rakau, Pacifica, and Motueka). Smells and tastes like honeydew melon, strawberry, and sweet tart candies.

Vines “Big Red” (9% abv):

Vines is a series of oak aged wild ales that celebrates wine grapes in all manifestations. This blend was inoculated with the wild yeast from 2019 red grape skins, aged for a year in oak, and refermented on 2020 Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon.

Both beers are available now at the Bellwoods retail stores and online shop.
