AYR, ON – Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery has announced the return of a St. Patrick’s Day beer that comes with a declaration that “green beer is wrong – but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun…”.
Shamrock Milkhouse DIPA with Lactose, Mint & Vanilla (8.3% abv):
We decided to dispose of all our green dye and harness the flavours of a childhood treat instead. A heavy dry hopping of Mosaic, Vic Secret and El Dorado built a bright, dank base that we then conditioned on mint chocolate, Madagascar bourbon vanilla and lactose. The result is a mint milkshake-esque DIPA the Golden Arches crew would be proud of (or so we think). As weird as it mint and hops sound it somehow works so well so get some while you can because last year this didn’t last long!
