Landwash Brewery Releases Brave Noise Pale Ale

MOUNT PEARL, NLLandwash Brewery has announced its participation in an international brewing collaboration that aims to “create a safe and discrimination-free beer industry, especially for women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ individuals, through inclusive environments and transparent policies.”

Brave Noise Pale Ale (4.8% abv) has been spearheaded by Brienne Allan, who triggered a #MeToo-style reckoning when she opened up her Instragram account to stories of harassment and discrimination experienced by those in the craft beer industry.

Brave Noise has been brewed by almost 250 breweries around the world, with each brewery including a QR code on the label that links to their Statement of Values or Code of Conduct, and donating proceeds to an organization that supports the mission of the collaboration.

Brave Noise Pale Ale is available now at the Landwash taproom and online shop. Partial proceeds will be donated to the Craft Beer Safety Network, a recently formed organization “for all marginalized communities (Women, 2SLGTQ, BIPOC folk, and those with disabilities) within the Canadian craft beer industry that provides resources and support for those who work in the industry that have been impacted by unsafe workspaces.”
