Wild Rose Brewery and Josh Morrissey Bring Back Sunday Fuzz Peach Hefeweizen for Mental Health Awareness

CALGARY, AB – Wild Rose Brewery has announced the return of a beer created in collaboration with Winnipeg Jets defenceman and Calgary native Josh Morrissey that is “aimed at raising awareness and promoting positivity around mental health.”

Sunday Fuzz Peach Hefeweizen (5% abv) is described as “a fruit-forward German wheat beer filled with real peach puree that offers a strong stone fruit aroma, with a tart edge and finish courtesy of a hint of apricot puree.”

A portion of the proceeds sales of Sunday Fuzz will be donated to the Glass Half Full Foundation, an initiative and charity founded by Morrissey to benefit mental health organizations.

“My fiancée, Margot, and I started the Glass Half Full Foundation with the goal of promoting mental wellbeing as Canadians continued to face ‘invisible’, but very real, challenges related to the pandemic and other ongoing stressors,” said Morrissey in a statement. “We are thrilled to be working with Wild Rose Brewery again to raise funds and ultimately have a positive impact on the mental health landscape in Canada.”

Sunday Fuzz is available now at the Wild Rose taproom and online store, and select beer retailers throughout Alberta.
