Banter & Co. Brewing Now Open in Brooklin, Ontario

BROOKLIN, ON – A new brewery and taproom promising to offer “Good Company, Good Banter, Good Beer” is now open in Brooklin, a community in Ontario’s Durham Region.

Banter & Co. Brewing has been co-founded by long-time friends James Mercier and Dan Bastas, along with business partners Johnny Bastas and Adrian James. The grand opening took place this past Saturday April 23rd, following several weeks in soft opening mode.

The brewery launched with four beers on tap – Blonde (4.8% abv), Belgian Wit (5% abv), IPA (4.7% abv), and New England IPA (6.5% abv). Several others are in the works for future release, including Stout, American Black Ale, English Ale, Imperial Red Ale, and Brave Noise Pale Ale.

The food menu is limited to a charcuterie board and several light snacks, but customers are welcome to bring their own food to enjoy with the beers.

Banter & Co. is located at 66 Baldwin Street in Brooklin, and is open from 12:00 noon daily with the exception of Mondays, closing at 6:00 PM on Tuesday and Sunday, and 9:00 PM from Wednesday to Saturday. For more details, see the brewery’s website and Facebook page.
