TORONTO, ON – Avling Brewery has announced the release of new limited edition sour ale.
Starling White Wine Sour (5% abv):
A stainless-aged sour made with 99% Ontario ingredients – including Ontario malt, amber wheat, buckwheat, hops and white wine skins from Rosewood Estates Winery – Starling stands alongside its cousins in wine as a beautiful pairing for the summer weather. It pours a deep gold with a bright and persistent white foam. Notes of red apple, white pepper, and lychee fly out of the glass, followed by flavours of lemon, raspberry leaf and baguette dough. As the flavours migrate across the palate, the soft but full texture gives way to an intriguing salinity that both quenches and beckons another sip. Naturally carbonated in the can, this beer is ready to be enjoyed in the sun. Drink fresh and enjoy!
