CALGARY, AB – A new company that aims to explore “the art and science of great beer” has announced the release of its first products.
Meta Brewery has been founded by lawyer Mandeep S. Mohar, and is currently having its beers and seltzers brewed under contract at Calgary’s Good Mood Brewery.
Meta made its debut over the weekend at the Calgary International Beerfest with Nucleus NEIPA (6.5% abv), “a golden, hazy IPA with moderate sweetness and fruity notes of juicy citrus and tropical fruit hop character”, and Quantum Pink Lemonade Seltzer (5% abv).
They will soon be joined in the line-up by Quantum Lager (5% abv), “a refreshing, light-bodied golden lager with a fine balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness.”
