ST. JOHN’S, NL – Yellowbelly Brewery has announced the release of a new beer to mark the 90th anniversary of Ameila Earhart’s transatlantic solo flight from Harbour Grace, Newfoundland to Northern Island.
Amelia Blueberry/Raspberry Sour (6% abv):
A bold blend of local berries with German Pils and Canadian 2-row malts, Amelia is sweet (but not too sweet), sour (but not too sour) and complex with notes of ginger, lemon zest and a hint of vanilla. Unfiltered with a lovely pink head, Amelia is wonderfully smooth and easy drinking – perfect for a sunny afternoon!
Amelia Sour is available now on tap and in bottles at Yellowbelly.
