HAMILTON, ON – Grain & Grit Beer Co. has announced the release of a new collaboration with Fruit Salad, a group that “aims to respond to the lack of spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ women, trans and gender non-conforming folks”.
Fruit Salad Pale Ale (5.8% abv):
Fruit Salad is what summer beer dreams are made of! The base beer is a lagered ale that we brewed with sour cherry, peach and tangerine. The result is light, crisp, bright, bubbly, and super refreshing! It’s full of gentle fruit flavours, with the tart cherries really shining through. You’ll pick up the tangerine in the aroma, along with cereal grain and more cherry.
Fruit Salad Pale Ale is available now at the Grain & Grit retail store and online shop. 50 cents from each can sold will be donated to speqtrum, which is a “youth-founded and youth-focused skill-sharing and community building program for 2SLGBTQIA+ young people in Hamilton.”
