Village Brewery Releases Calgary Beer Session Ale

CALGARY, AB – Village Brewery has announced that a historic regional beer brand it revived last year has returned, although the beer inside the can is completely different this time around.

Calgary Beer Session Ale (5% abv):

We’re thrilled to be able to bring back Calgary Beer for year two with a brand new style to add to the rich history of this iconic brand! The 2022 recipe has been reinvented as a clean, crisp Session Ale, with Alberta barley and Ella hops, tailor-made for Calgary summers. It’s called Calgary Beer because it’s for everyone.

As with last year’s Calgary Beer Craft Lager, Village came to a licensing arrangement with Molson Coors, current owner of the Calgary Beer brand, to brew and sell Calgary Beer Session Ale exclusively in Alberta for a limited time.

Calgary Beer will be available through the summer at the Village Brewery retail store and online shop, and select bars, restaurants, and liquor stores.
