Copper Bottom Brewing Releases Betty’s Ale for PEI Business Women’s Association Micro Grants

MONTAGUE, PE – Copper Bottom Brewing has announced the latest in its GiveBack Initiative series of beers released in support of local causes and charities.

Betty’s Ale (5% abv):

Betty’s Ale is an approachable, easy-drinking Golden Ale to celebrate a golden lady. Betty, who was affectionately known as “Bet” or “Captain Izzy” was one of the first women in Eastern PEI to captain her own fishing boat. A tough lobster lady who loved a high pair of pumps and a good beer on a Saturday night. She was a single mom with a heart the size of PEI and the best doggone biscuit maker this side of Kings County.

Betty’s Ale is available now at the Copper Bottom taproom and online shop. $1 from each can and pint sold will go to the PEI Business Women’s Association Micro Grants, a program “designed to help new, growing, and established women entrepreneurs through a non-repayable grant and business skills support.”
