TIMMINS, ON – Compass Brewing has announced that it will be closing after an attempt to find investors to keep the business afloat was unsuccessful.
“We’ve been struggling for the past 2 years to stay alive, [and] Covid and other factors like rent increases lead to this decision,” said owner Kevin Patriquin in a statement posted on Facebook last week. “With no money to purchase ingredients and supplies we are running very low on stock. With no luck securing any investors we have no other option to close our doors as of end of July.”
Compass will be open from Wednesday to Friday this week and next to sell through remaining stock. For more details, see the brewery’s Facebook page.
