PICTON, ON – Slake Brewing has announced the release of this year’s version of a labour intensive beer that made a brief draught-only appearance last summer.
Cherry Valley (6.3% abv):
This 2022 vintage of Cherry Valley is a barrel aged beer that rested on 1600 lbs of whole Niagara tart cherries that we painstakingly processed by hand. After a year in French oak puncheons, this mixed fermentation beer was reconditioned on the cherries. Super slakeable with a touch of tartness, oakiness and funk. But let’s be real, it’s all about the cherry.
