MEAFORD, ON – Still Fields Brewery has announced the release of beer described as “our take on a Wit… with a twist.”
Bière Blanche (5% abv):
We set out to create all the classic Wit flavours without the use of coriander or orange peel. We used equal parts barley and raw wheat, and a small percentage of oats for the mash. A combination of Cascade, Styrian Celeia, and Hersbrucker hops create the citrus and spicy notes. Lastly, we added a touch of our house souring culture to elevate the citrus character of the beer. Combined you get a hazy pale beer with a long lingering head that has notes of citrus and white peppercorn. A classic summer drink!
