TORONTO, ON – Great Lakes Brewery has announced the release of a new beer to raise funds for the St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation.

Polka Dot Pilsner (4.5% abv):

Polka Dot Pilsner was brewed in support of the Cycle 4 St. Joes Annual Fundraiser. The iconic red polka dots on the label match the cyclist jersey awarded to the “Best Climber” in the Tour De France. A refined and easy drinking Pilsner, Polka Dot pours brilliant gold with a snowy white cap. Aromas of grass, straw and a hint of citrus lead to a crisp and refreshing experience with each sip. Hints of some slight spicy hop notes are picked up alongside a touch of floral character and citrus. Light bodied and very drinkable.

Polka Dot Pilsner will be available at 11:00 AM today (September 22nd) and both Great Lakes retail stores and the brewery’s online shop. $1 from each can sold will be donated to the St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation.
