Burlington Brewery Now Open in Burlington, Ontario

BURLINGTON, ON – A new “family-owned brewery that focuses on small batches of craft beer” has announced the opening of its taproom and retail shop in Burlington.

Burlington Brewery has been launched Fernando Sequeda, Iris Gutierrez, Carlos Cime, and Jeriuska Sandoval, also known as the team behind Maiz Latin Food in Toronto.

The company has had contract brewed versions of its beers available at Maiz and other licensees for some time, but is now operating out of it’s own location in the space that was previously home to 5 West Brewpub & Kitchen.

Officially open since this past Monday September 26th, Burlington Brewery has a core line-up of four beers – Raza Vienna Lager (5% abv), Maiz Pilsner (5.3% abv), Hoppy Seagull IPA (6.5% abv), and Grindstone Double IPA (8.3% abv) – available on tap and in cans to go.

The food menu features a selection of Latin items including nachos, tacos, tequeños, and churros, along with other brewpub favourites like mac & cheese, burgers, sandwiches, and steak & fries.

Burlington Brewery is located at 3600B Dundas St Unit G101 in Burlington, and is open Monday to Thursday from 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM, Friday from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 midnight, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
