CALGARY, AB – XhAle Brew Co. has announced details of the latest release in its Saison Series.
Saisoniest Saison Dark Saison (5.7% abv):
A tribute to Stuart Semple in the art-war against Anish Kapoor – because art and supplies should be for everyone, not just for the elite and privileged! Google Semple vs. Kapoor, and have a good read – whose side are you on?
Inspired by Semple’s depth of colour and complexity of wit, XhAle presents a dark saison using wort staining, to produce light roast on a body of dark fruit and pumpernickel malt. This saison incorporates blackcurrant and gooseberry notes from German Ariana hops, a dry hop of Barbe Rouge, and is all brought together by layered saison yeast which gives characteristics of soft bubblegum and a hint of white pepper.
Best enjoyed while sharing, a concept Anish Kapoor doesn’t quite understand.
