TORONTO, ON – Burdock Brewery has announced the release of its latest beverage to blend the best of beer and wine.
Orange Verde (8.4% abv):
Orange Verde is a beer-wine hybrid many years in the making: Shiro and Golden plum beers from 2019/20, rested on kumquats, and blended with Chardonnay at bottling. The result is reminiscent of skin contact wine, with great acidity (tart+), a tropical fruit aroma, and notes of tangerine, sour orange, and kumquats (the lemon of oranges), plus a pinch of mint for good measure.
Orange Verde is available now at the Burdock retail store and online shop.
