Broadhead Brewery Releases Helles Bock and Strawberry Mango Sour

OTTAWA, ON – Broadhead Brewery has announced the latest releases in its 174 Taproom Series of limited edition beers.

Helles Bock (6.4% abv):

True to style this Bock was brewed primarily using all German ingredients. It pours a beautiful unfiltered honey gold, with a small white persistent head. Scents of sweet bready malts are laced with honey, toffee and light nuttiness that’s followed by a subtle earthy hop note. On the palate bready malts and a honey sweetness meet an earthy hop presence that grows throughout the sip. Medium bodied, the warm ABV makes this the perfect brew to warm you up to on a chilly fall evening.

Strawberry Mango Sour (4.7% abv):

Pouring a deep reddish orange with a silky smooth off white head that dissipates quickly. On the nose immediate fresh sliced mango and an almost sour candy like deep citrus are paired with the sweet scent of fresh strawberries. The taste follows the nose, with strawberry and mango on forefront, and a citrus sour candy punch rounding it out. It’s a fun, fresh, brew with a little tart, prickly finish.

Both beers are available now at the Broadhead taproom/retail store and online shop.
