Broadhead Brewery Releases Belgian Tripel and Chocolate Coffee Vanilla Porter

OTTAWA, ON – Broadhead Brewery has announced two new releases in its 174 Taproom Series of limited edition beers.

Belgian Tripel (7.8% abv):

This recipe was crafted by 2022 Orleans Craft Brewing Festival Homebrew competition winner Craig Bond and brewed to perfection with the help of our brew crew and state of the art facility. Pouring a brilliant pale straw, this beer opens with a bold note of spicy Noble hops that give way to the fruity aromas offered by the traditional Belgian yeast. Brewed with pilsner and melanoidin malts, this Tripel is classically smooth and complex, with a hint of sweet citrus before a pleasantly dry finish delivers a warm, strong boozy bite.

Chocolate Coffee Vanilla Porter (5.4% abv):

Smooth and chocolatey, with subtle coffee and vanilla, this is the perfect brew to kick off the holiday season. Pouring almost black in colour, with a thick dark tan head. On the nose the vanilla is first, supported by wonderful hints of dark chocolate, cocoa powder and freshly ground dark roast. On the palate vanilla, dark roast coffee and bitter sweet dark chocolate are met with dark roasted malts, and plenty of coffee bitterness that lingers to the next sip. Medium-full bodied, with a smooth lingering finish.

Both beers are available now at the Broadhead taproom/retail store and online shop.
