TORONTO, ON – Shacklands Brewing has announced the release of a new collaboration with beer writer and educator Jordan St. John.
Golden Mouth Fresh Hopped Belgian Golden Ale (6.5% abv):
Pouring a beautiful pale gold, this lovely concoction was solely brewed with a TONNE of freshly picked whole cone Chinook hops from Hayhoe Hops in Aylmer, Ontario. On the nose is a pleasant tingling spice along with ripe stone fruit, candied citrus, and bread. You will notice this beer has a delightfully smooth texture, enveloping the palate in a soft and mellow embrace accompanied by apricot, golden plum, white grapefruit, pastry crust, and a complex bouquet of spices. Finishing with a firm slightly piney bitterness, it manages to be simultaneously mellow and playful!
Golden Mouth is available now at the Shacklands taproom and online shop. Partial proceeds will go to Unity Kitchen who provide food and other resources to those facing homelessness and food insecurity in Toronto.
