TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the release of this year’s edition of an ever-morphing winter seasonal.
Blitzen 2022 (11% abv):
Blitzen is a celebratory beer released in December, brewed to encapsulate flavours of the holiday. This year’s Blitzen is a Fruitcake Imperial Stout inspired by everyone’s favourite brandy-soaked Christmas cake, complete with raisins, cranberries, dates, whole vanilla beans, orange peel and cinnamon. This embodiment of holiday flavours offers up notes of orange, cranberry and vanilla at the forefront and more caramelized fruit notes as it warms up a touch. Rich, smooth, fruity and supremely befitting of the season. The perfect winter night cap.
