Broadhead Brewery Releases Cranberry Sour and Single Hop Hazy IPA

OTTAWA, ON – Broadhead Brewery has announced two new releases in its 174 Taproom Series of limited edition beers.

Cranberry Sour (4.6% abv):

Fiery rose in colour, unfiltered and slighty hazy, with a light pink head that fizzes away quickly. On the nose there’s a strong presence of lactic sourness and cranberry tartness upfront, followed by a touch of mixed berries and mild earthyness. The palate brings forth fresh tart cranberry, tart acidity, citrus rind and more understated earth herbalness. The carbonation is moderate to support the light to medium body, and the tart/sour essences lead into a semi-dry finish.

Single Hop Hazy IPA (5.5% abv):

Our Single Hop Hazy IPA with Eclipse hops pours a thick hazy orange-gold colour, with a dense, fluffy off-white head. On the nose it’s incredibly citrusy, with the mandarin upfront, fresh orange peel all supported by hints of resinous pine. The taste follows the nose with deliciously citrus and tropical fruit acidity, and a nice smooth bitterness that balances out the sip. Full bodied and supremely juicy, with moderated carbonation and a creamy smooth mouth feel.

Both beers are available now at the Broadhead taproom/retail store and online shop.
