TORONTO, ON – Bandit Brewery has announced the 7th annual edition of its Hibernator holiday barrel-aged beer series, with three editions available to enjoy this year.
Hibernator 2022 Bourbon Barrel Aged Barley Wine (11.3% abv):
Aged for two years, developing robust flavour over time. An abundance of caramel and chocolate aromas and notes of dried fruit throughout. Perfect for the cozy winter ahead.
Hibernator 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel Aged Sour Golden Ale (6.2% abv):
Aged for eighteen months in Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels with lactobacillus and pediococcus, allowing the acidity and Brett character to develop. A complex and zest forward experience, this soured golden ale leaves a refreshing tartness on the palate, offering up a bit of funk for the holiday season ahead.
Hibernator 2022 Bourbon Barrel Aged Sour Imperial Stout (10% abv):
Aged for two years, developing a rich and sour stout, with notes of caramel throughout. Funky and acidic, yet earthy, this soured stout has a complex character that is a fun sipper for the holiday season.
