HASTINGS, ON – Focal Brewing has announced the release of a new and improved version of one of its flagship brands.
Welcome To Ontario Pale Ale (5.5% abv):
This revamped version of Welcome To Ontario uses the same locally sourced grain from Belleville’s Barn Owl Malt but turned up the dose of Chinook and Cascade hops in the late additions to give this pale ale a slightly higher IBU, a more pronounced pine flavour and a lot more aroma.
“We’re big fans of hops and felt we weren’t showcasing these Ontario-grown hops well enough,” says Brandon Bickle, co-owner of Focal Brewing, in the announcement.
Welcome To Ontario is available now at the Focal Brewing taproom and retail store.
