The Establishment Brewing Company Releases 2022 Edition of Erlton Street Barrel-Aged Blend

CALGARY, AB – The Establishment Brewing Company has announced the latest in a series of new and returning beers that are being released this week to mark the brewery’s 4th anniversary.

Erlton Street 2022 (6.6% abv):

This year, Erlton Street’s having a block party and orange marmalade, cracked caraway, and freshly ground black pepper are invited. Mild acidity is on the menu and you know the playlist is funky. Nuanced, complex, and positively glowing, this is the first of our anniversary addresses that features a blend of 1, 2, and 3 year-old Lambic-inspired beers. This blend of old and young is our nod to the Belgian Gueuze tradition. That’s Gueuze, pronounced “gooz”, not Gose, pronounced “goes ah”—beer’s a trip, you guys.

If you compare each year’s edition of Erlton Street, you can taste how much we’ve grown. This is less because we’ve matured and more because our house culture has. And on the topic of age, the beers we blended to make this were aged in oak barrels for an average of 24 months. While all our releases are milestones, this marks a massive one since it’s the first Erlton Street made with 100% Lambic-inspired beers. Come grab a green bottle for yourself. That’s right, green!

Erlton Street 2022 is available now at the Establishment retail store and online shop. A limited gift set including bottles of all four annual vintages of Erlton Street and two branded tumbler glasses is also available.
