CALGARY, AB – The Establishment Brewing Company has announced the last in a series of new and returning beers released over the past week to mark the brewery’s 4th anniversary.
The Great Gig In The Sky Imperial Dark Sour with Raspberries (8% abv):
Far from just another drop in the bucket, this beer is the first Imperial Dark Sour we’ve ever dropped, and it’s positively dripping with jammy realness. It’s got loads of raspberries, and it’s not shy about it either. Why, their presence is as plain as the nose on your face—which is also where you’ll first encounter it. Aroma-wise, it’s all sweet preserves, but things get a little more complex when it hits your palate with a cheeky tartness that cuts through the velvety chocolate fondue thing The Great Gig’s also got going on. This brew appears through glass like a rich, molten chocolate jewel. The collision of dark colour and deep flavour with the bright sourness of the fruit is unexpected, but we think you’ll welcome it.
