Blind Enthusiasm Brewing Releasing Sojourn in Sicily Mixed Fermentation Blend

EDMONTON, AB – Blind Enthusiasm has announced the latest limited edition release from The Monolith, the brewery’s facility for the creation of wood-aged and spontaneous-fermentation beers.

Sojourn in Sicily (6.8% abv):

A mixed fermentation blend with unique characteristics that are the result of spending 20 months fermenting in Sicilian Marsala barrels. The result is a robust beer with subtle red berry and rose water aromatics, savoury walnut and maple flavours, which are amplified by a medium high acidity.

Sojourn in Sicily will be previewed with a ticketed event at The Monolith on the evening on Wednesday February 8th. The event will be hosted by Blind Enthusiasm owner Greg Zeschuk and Head Brewer Doug Checknita, and the $15 ticket price includes admission, a 200 mL pour of Sojourn in Sicily, and a 50 mL pour of Florio Vecchioflorio Marsala Superiore Secco.

The public launch of Sojourn in Sicily will follow next week, when it will be available at Blind Enthusiasm’s Monolith and Biera Market locations, and via the brewery’s online shop.
