TORONTO, ON – Henderson Brewing has announced the 82nd release in its monthly Ides Series of small batch beers, with this edition being a Black History Month collaboration with beer bloggers Edward Buhnai and Meoshi Nottage.
Onward and Upward Belgian Dubbel (9% abv):
Ed and Meoshi chose to pay tribute to Kathleen “Kay” Livingstone, a driving force behind the empowerment & advancement of Black women. For the beer, they asked us to brew an indulgent Belgian Dubbel that warms those who enjoy it during the cold winter months. Dark brown in colour with a dry finish & complex flavours of dark fruit, chocolate, caramel, nuts & spice.
