DARTMOUTH, NS – Nine Locks Brewing has announced the release of a new beer to raise funds for earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria.
Rise From the Rubble Disaster Relief IPA is described as an “Australian-style IPA packed with Galaxy hops, juicy and fruity [with] heavy notes of citrus, red currant and white grape.”
“Even though we’re half a world away, we know we need to do our part,” said Shaun O’Hearn, co-founder of Nine Locks, in a statement. “The suffering the people of Turkey and Syria are enduring is truly unspeakable. Over 40,000 people have lost their lives, and countless others are still missing and unaccounted for. There is no other way to say it – they need our help. They need everyone’s help.”
Rise From the Rubble is available now at both Nine Locks locations. 100% of proceeds from its sales will go to the Canadian Red Cross Turkey and Syria Appeal.
