TORONTO, ON – Burdock Brewery has announced the release of a “collaboration between our brewery and kitchen teams.”
Modz Strong Beer (6.66% abv):
Modz is like our beer Classic, but a bit extra, clocking in at 6.66% ABV and tasting crispy and delicious, just like the bread we brewed it with! That’s right – we brewed it with 30 kg of Blackbird and Lev Bakery Sourdough Bread – added directly to the mash as a substitution for barley. This cool little “up-cycling” trick turned that left over bread into primo alcohols (aka crispy beer). Modz drinks full and fluffy with some delicious fruity & fresh loaf flavours on the finish. Delish!
