Trading Post Brewing Closes District Wine Village Location

OLIVER, BC – Trading Post Brewing has announced that it has permanently closed its brewery and taproom location at District Wine Village in Oliver, BC.

Trading Post DWV opened in June 2021 and was the only non-winery to be represented in the Village, as well as the sole on-site food operator, with a restaurant that served pizzas, salads, snacks and more.

According to an announcement posted on Instagram late last week, the closure was a mutual decision between the owners of DWV and Trading Post, and the brewery expressed “deepest gratitude to our amazing team for their hard work and dedication while operating.”

District Wine Village has announced that Trading Post will be replaced in April by Ward’s Wine Country Kitchen, “a casual, fully licensed, full-service restaurant” that will offer a variety of local wines, craft beers, and spirits.

Trading Post will continue to operate its original brewery and tasting room in Langley, and restaurants in Fort Langley and Abbotsford.
