Trailway Brewing Releases Physica Raspberry Cream IPA

FREDERICTON, NB Trailway Brewing has announced the release of a new beer to celebrate this year’s edition of International Women’s Day.

Physica Raspberry Cream IPA (5.6% abv):

Physica Raspberry Cream IPA was named for the first text which described using hops in beer, written by Hildegard Von Bingen in the 12th century. We were inspired by Hildegard as a way of recognizing the role that women have played in the development of beer throughout history (particularly when it comes to our most cherished ingredient, hops).

The women on our team helped to design, produce and package Physica. Physica is fruited with raspberry and hopped with El Dorado and Mosaic to boost the fruity character of the beer and to help set it apart from the other IPAS we offer. Physica is soft and slightly sweet. This beer has huge raspberry notes on both the nose and palate and finishes with a delicate creaminess.

Physica is available now at the Trailway taproom, retail store, and online shop.

Partial proceeds will be donated to Women in Transition House in Fredericton and Cloverdale Centre for Women in Saint John. Further donations for both organizations will be accepted through all of March at the brewery taproom in Fredericton, and the Union House taproom in Saint John when it opens later this month.
