Something In The Water Brewing Releases Half Moon Pond Orange Red Ale and Lake Mindemoya Mango Witbier

TORONTO, ON & KINGSTON, ON – Something In The Water Brewing has announced the release of two new beers to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Half Moon Pond Orange Red Ale (5.2% abv) and Lake Mindemoya Mango Witbier (5.2% abv):

These beers were created, brewed, and named by the women of Something in the Water using Pink Boots Blend hops. We turned the whole process over to the female staff of each brewery: Create any beer you want, name it after a body of water that means something to you, and be there for brew day.

Team Toronto came up with a uniquely named Orange Red Ale, saying “this beer represents our zest for life with sweet flavours of butterscotch and caramel giving way to orange that comes from real orange zest. Perfect for wistful dreaming of summer nights ahead.”

Kingston dreamed up a Mango Witbier, a Belgian beer brewed with coriander, orange peel, and real mango named to honour Autumn Peltier, an outspoken clean water advocate named Chief Water Commissioner for the Anishinabek Nation in 2019.

Both beers are available now at Something In The Water locations in Toronto and Kingston, and the brewery’s online shop. Partial proceeds will be donated to Sistering in Toronto and the Sexual Assault Centre Kingston.
