WELLAND & BEAMSVILLE, ON – Intercounty Baseball League club the Welland Jackfish has announced a contest to name a new beer that has been created for the team by Newark Brewing in nearby Beamsville.
Fans are invited to submit their name ideas for the “German-inspired light lager” via a contest page on the Jackfish website until April 14th. The winner will receive a prize package that includes a case of the new beer, a $50 gift card for Newark Brewing, ten Jackfish box seat flex vouchers, and a custom Jackfish jersey.
Once its been named, the new lager will be available at all Jackfish home games alongside Pond Water Lager (5% abv), a Newark-brewed beer that was also named in a fan contest.
