WASKATENAU, AB – A brewery currently in the planning stages in Waskatenau, a village in Alberta’s Smoky Lake County, has announced the release of its first beer.
Branding Iron Brewing has entered the market with Wit the Heck (5% abv) a wheat ale brewed under contract at Field and Forge Brewing in Innisfail.
Described as “a refreshing and smooth Belgian style ale [that is] the perfect spring beer with citrus and spices,” Wit the Heck was officially released last week, and is available at select beer retailers and bars in the area.
