Henderson Brewing Ides Series Continues with The Fetherstonhaugh Zero IBU IPA

TORONTO, ON – Henderson Brewing has announced the 84th release in its monthly Ides Series of small batch beers, with this edition paying tribute to a long-forgotten part of Toronto’s automotive history.

The Fetherstonhaugh Zero IBU IPA (6.8% abv):

In 1893, William Joseph Still, a proven inventor of steam and electrical technologies, collaborated with Mimico, Ontario patent lawyer Frederick Barnard Fetherstonhaugh. The Fetherstonhaugh was Canada’s first electric vehicle designed and built at the Dixon Carriage Company in downtown Toronto. The car remained in production for over 10 years as the electric car industry began to take shape, however, in 1912 the Fetherstonhaugh disappeared from the historical record.

To commemorate this vehicle, we brewed this juicy & inviting IPA with full tropical citrus flavour divorced from the bitterness so familiar in IPAs.

The Fetherstonhaugh is available now at the Henderson taproom, retail store, and online shop.
