Wild Rose Brewery Bring Backs Sunday Fuzz Peach Hefeweizen for Chimo Animal Assisted Wellness and Learning Society

CALGARY, AB – Wild Rose Brewery has announced the return of its “seasonal beer for a cause”, which this year supports an organization that provides animal-assisted therapy and learning programs.

Sunday Fuzz Peach Hefeweizen (5% abv) is described as “a fruit-forward German wheat beer filled with real peach puree that offers a strong stone fruit aroma, with a tart edge and finish courtesy of a hint of apricot puree.”

A portion of the proceeds sales of Sunday Fuzz will be donated to Chimo Animal Assisted Wellness and Learning Society (CAAWLS), which aims to improve mental wellbeing, emotional regulation, communication skills, and physical health to individuals of all ages through its programs.

“CAAWLS is pleased to be working with Wild Rose Brewery on its Sunday Fuzz campaign in support of mental health,” said Alexander Smoliak, President of CAAWLS, in a statement. “The funds and awareness raised through this initiative will allow us to provide expanded animal assisted intervention services for the ultimate betterment of community mental health in our province.”

“We recognize the important role that mental health plays in our overall wellbeing and we are proud to support CAAWLS and their efforts to provide animal-assisted therapy to those who need it most,” added Candace Potter, Brand Manager at Wild Rose Brewery. “Their commitment to the stewardship of mental health in Alberta communities is truly inspiring and makes them the perfect partner for this year’s Sunday Fuzz campaign.”

Sunday Fuzz is available now at the Wild Rose taproom, retail store, and online shop, as well as select beer retailers throughout Alberta.
